Book a Free Self-Guided School Visit
Bring your students to experience nationally significant art and local history up close. Schools are welcome to enjoy free self-guided visits to Abbot Hall Art Gallery, the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry and Blackwell, The Arts & Crafts House. Teachers are encouraged to visit free of charge before bringing their class. Clipboards, KS2 activity trails, and drawing materials may be provided. Please enquire when booking, or see our School Visits Guidelines for more informaiton. All visits must be arranged three weeks in advance by sending a School Booking Form to email@example.com.

Our workshops are designed to enrich the curriculum by inspiring students with hands-on learning in an immersive environment. Delve into historical inquiry, printmaking, portraiture, and landscape by exploring our nationally significant collections. All visits must be arranged three weeks in advance by sending a Booking Form to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Half day £4 per pupil
Full day £6 per pupil
We will send the school an invoice following the visit.
Morning workshops run from 10.30 to 12.00, afternoon workshops run from 1.00 to 2.30, and full days run from 10.30 to 2.30 unless otherwise arranged.
