Abbot Hall Art Gallery & Museum
Due to space constraints, it is not possible to display the whole of the large and varied collections at one time. If there is a specific work you wish to see then please contact us before visiting to check that it is currently on display.
If you have any enquiries about any aspect of the collection, whether on display or in store, then please contact Heather Dawson-Mains at email@example.com.
In special circumstances viewings of specific works in store can be arranged. Please download and complete the Research Access Form and return it to Heather Dawson-Mains, our Collections Management Assistant.
Please note that due to limited staff resources there may be a delay in the processing of some applications, although we aim to accommodate all appointments within one month. Unfortunately, for conservation reasons, it will not always be possible to accommodate a request and each appointment will be considered on an individual basis.
